August 2005 -The Bookdrop is not just
for books!
Don’t be plagued by late fees…you can return ANY materials you’ve checked out from the library in our drop box located in front of the library. You can also call us to renew your items, or do-it-yourself on-line! It’s better than paying fines!
Hopefully it will be cooler soon so we can utilize THE NEW PATIO!! Many, many thanks to the volunteers who have made this project possible!!! We plan to eventually have the patio fill the entire front section, so if you would care to contribute funds, supplies, or labor, we ARE accepting donations! Please also notice how attractive the courtyard is with
the sunflowers and
nasturtiums our Second Saturday Club grew!
Tired of your SLOOWWWWW old dial-up? Our high speed internet makes
computer projects lots faster, and downloads are a snap! If it’s too hot to be outside, come in and browse the shelves for books, DVDs, CDs, videos, and magazines in cool comfort!
Do
you know anyone who would be willing to donate old annuals? We are trying to start a
collection of
Make
yourself feel good and do something nice for your community by volunteering at the
library! We have a list of things to do, as well as a wish list of items.
Crochet Club, for novices as well as
experienced crocheters, meets Mondays at 5:00.
Book
Club will resume meeting in September. Come by later in the month and pick up a copy of My
Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult.

FYI - The library will be
closed on Saturday, September 3 and Monday, September 5.
